Why we exist
The work that decides whether a property runs well is mostly conversation and paperwork — a tenant calling about a leak, a vendor to find, an owner to ask, a record to keep.
That work is where time goes and where things get dropped, and it has been the hardest to automate, because it needs judgement about money, property and people. General-purpose AI can hold a conversation; it can’t be trusted on its own with an owner’s money or a tenant’s home.
So we build the other part: the rules, the limits, the records and the stopping points that let AI do the legwork while the decisions stay with a person. That is the company — the products we ship, the private systems we build for organizations, and the consulting that finds where it belongs first.

We started where the stakes are real — maintenance, money and people’s homes — and built the rules in first. Risky steps stop and wait for a recorded human decision.

Voice, reasoning, privacy and volume each pull toward different models. The MaintenanceTech platform was designed to be model-agnostic and capable of using open-source models.

I’m Breanna Mason, Co-Founder and COO of K3YHOLD. We built K3YHOLD because too much of real estate still runs on missed calls, scattered updates, and manual follow-up.
I wanted to build something practical — AI systems that help owners and operators stay informed, move faster, and spend less time chasing information. K3YHOLD exists to reduce operational friction while keeping people in control of the decisions that matter.
