How we label what's real

Available now, custom capability, in development — and on the platform, works today, built but switched off, coming, not offered. Why every claim on this site carries a status.

Every product, service and feature on this site carries a status. We do it because the AI industry has a habit of describing tomorrow’s roadmap in today’s tense, and buyers have learned to discount everything they read. We’d rather be believed.

Three categories for everything we offer

Available now means you can engage with it today — including the pilot and design-partner programs, which say exactly who they’re for. Custom capability means something we can design and build for you, scoped per engagement, not a product on a shelf. Labs · In development means we’re working on it and it isn’t released.

Four labels for every platform feature

Inside MaintenanceTech, we use the labels from our own capability guide: Works today (you can use it now), Built, switched off (finished, and held back on purpose until something outside the software is ready), Coming (planned, not built — we won’t demo it), and Not offered (we don’t do it by design — like moving money).

What counts as proof here

The product screens on this site are real screens, running on demo data. The recorded call is a real call, and it says whose voice is whose and which line it was recorded on. Anything not ready to use carries a label saying so, rather than a paragraph written to imply otherwise. When pilot results exist they will arrive with their method and their limits attached, and they will be ours — a figure without a method is decoration.

The same discipline runs through the AI Opportunity Assessment: it never estimates ROI, it tells you when AI helped write your brief, and it never turns into a sales pitch.
